Maybelline is one of my most favorite makeup brand from my college days. I first used their Colossal kajal. MY VERDICT ABOUT THIS MAYBELLINE FIT ME LOOSE POWDER Light Medium -20 :

PACKAGING:

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder comes in a square plastic box type container. The lid is twist-and-lock kind of, which makes it very secure and travel-friendly. Packaging wise it looks like Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder. But Maybelline first launches its loose powder in the market than Huda Beauty.

Maximum loose powder’s main problem is when you open its lid and the powder spreads everywhere and it becomes so messy. But the packaging of Maybelline Loose Powder is so convenient that does not make the container messy and that also prevents wastage of lots of product.

When you open its lid you can see a transparent plastic sheet over the holes for extra protection. But it does not provide any applicator or mirror with it. That’s why we need a brush or powder puff or sponge and a mirror separately to apply this Maybelline loose powder on the face. That’s been the only downside for me about the packaging.

Maybelline FIT ME Setting POWDER Shades:

My shade in Maybelline Fit me Loose Powder Light Medium. This shade is slightly yellow toned and it has also strong peachy tint. That is perfect for my fair warm undertone skin. Besides that, it gives some coverage on my bare face. It also helps in color correcting because of its tint.

In India, Maybelline launched only 4 shades in their Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder range. But outside of India, they have a total of 8 shades. Also, have a nice shade range for medium to dusky skin tones. But in India, just one shade is available for a deeper skin tone. However, they need to make more shades for Indian skin tones.

Maybelline FIT ME LOOSE POWDER Shades are:

1. 15 Light- Best for fair skin-tone with a pink undertone. Best for cool and neutral skin tone. 
2. 20 Light Medium- Best for fair to medium skin tone with yellow/peach undertone.
3. 25 Medium- Suitable for whitish medium skin-tone with a yellow undertone.
4. 30 Medium Deep- Best for medium to deeper skin-tone.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MAYBELLINE FIT ME LOOSE POWDER:

I have used any loose powder for the first time and I love this from the very first use. The shade 20 Light / Medium is perfect for my skin tone. Although I have dry combination skin it does not make me feel dry my face. It evens out the skin and feels so soft. It brightens up my face, especially under the eye area. It has a peachy tint that’s why it gives colour correcting effect. It sets my base makeup very well and gives a flawless matte finish. This loose powder is not chokey.

I am fair to medium skin tone and 20 Light Medium shade suits me very well.

 

This is a very finely mild powder that’s why feels so soft and easily blended on the skin. Give a natural non-drying finish. Also great for baking. It also minimizes the appearance of pores. Highly recommended, must try.

HOW I AM USE THIS Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder Light Medium:

1. Most of the time I am using this Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder to set my foundation and concealer.
2. Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder Light-medium shade exactly matches with my skin tone. Not darker nor light.
3. On hot and humid weather or in the day time I used this all over my face to control sweat and oil on my face.
4. Also, I am using this Maybelline setting powder to bake my face for more coverage on a special occasion.
5. I used both powder brush and sponge to apply this loose powder on my face.

PROS & CONS OF THIS FIT ME LOOSE POWDER:

• PROS:

1. Maybelline loose powder is buttery soft and smooth in texture.
2. Brighten up face very well
3. Sets base makeup very good and give a clear filtered look.
4. This Fit me loose powder minimizes the appearance of pores and that’s why this loose powder instantly blurs and smooth skin and gives a flawless finish.
5. This Maybelline loose powder is very longlasting. But oily skin needs a retouch.
6. Also great for dry skins because this loose powder does not dry up the skin.
7. This Maybelline fit me loose powder light-medium has some tints that’s why it is helping to even out skin.
8. It gives sheer coverage.
9. Easily available.
10. Gives a matte finish.

CONS:

1. Price a bit high.
2. It has not any applicator and mirror.
3. As it is a loose powder, just a little hard to maintain.
4. Need more shade in India.

OVERALL MY OPINION ABOUT THIS MAYBELLINE LOOSE POWDER 20 Light Medium:

Maybelline loose powder is one of the best drugstore loose powder in the market. Must try this but just make sure you get the right shade. Maybelline fit me loose powder 20 is perfect for fair but warm undertone. It stays long, set makeup very well, gives a flawless matte finish. This loose powder has a very smooth texture that feels like you have nothing applied to the face. Suitable for every skin type.
