My Opinion About the Maybelline Face Studio Highlighter Molten Gold:

Packaging: Maybelline master chrome highlighter comes in a black plastic container with a transparent white sturdy closing plastic lid. It has not any mirror or applicator and on the product, there is some geometric pattern is drawn. Overall travel-friendly and very classy packaging.

Texture: It feels very smooth like buttery soft. Easily blended on the skin. This powder highlighter has not any chunky glitter. It has very mild metallic pearl pigment.

Pigmentation: This master chrome highlighter is highly pigmented and it is a metallic highlighter. It gives you instantly an opaque glow with a Sunkissed look. You need just one sweep of this metallic highlighter for an amazing glow.

My Actual Experience with Maybelline Master Chrome Molten Gold Highlighter:

At first Mabelline New York launch, only one shade of Master Chrome Highlighter in India and that is 100 Molten Gold. After that, it added another shade in this metallic highlighter range that is 50 Molten Rose Gold.

I chose Molten Gold because of its very unique shade. It is a metallic gold shade highlighter or you can say it coppery gold colour. This type of shade is best for festive occasions and wedding functions. This shade compliment fair to dusky every Indian skin tone. It gives you a very gorgeous, elegant Egyptian Queen Cleopatra like a golden goddess look. Also, any highlighter intensifies our bone structure.

I love this type of metallic highlighter. For me, it is one of the best drugstore highlighters in the budget. It is available online and at any Maybelline counter. Also, you can get a good discount if you purchase online.

How I Am Applying this Maybelline Metallic Highlighter:

I am using this Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter only on special occasions. Because I think it is too loud for daytime or everyday makeup. But I love its warm golden coppery metallic finish. It gives me a perfect golden glow on special occasions.

When I am in a hurry, I just dab my finger on it and directly apply it to the highest point of my face. But for the perfect glow, I prefer to use a fan brush or any small blending brush. Fan brush and powder highlighter are the best combinations for a glowing face. Also, you can use a highlighter brush or a wet sponge.

I spray some setting spray or face mist on the brush, then apply the highlighter usually where I am applying on my face and nicely blend it with the help of the brush

Tips: When you use a wet brush to apply highlighter it gives you maximum glow on your face and also you do not need much product. That prevents wastage of excess product.

Ans: Powder highlighter is always used after applying your base makeup, that means:

Where to put powder highlighter on face diagram?

Ans: On the face, there are 7 places where you can apply highlighter:

1. On cheekbone
2. Middle of the forehead
3. On cupid’s bow
4. On brow bone
5. On the center of the chin
6. On the bridge of the nose
7. And last but not least Inner corner of the eyes for appearing your eyes bigger and brighter

Pros:

6. Does not have chunky glitter.

Cons:

1. It does not have any applicator and mirror.
2. This particular shade of Maybelline master chrome highlighter may appear too gold on pale to fair skin.
3. You need to reapply after 3-4 hours in hot and humid weather.
