Today I am reviewing another liquid lipstick from the house of Lakme and the product is Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lipcolour. Lakme first launched 8 shades in this range. After that recently Lakme added again 12 new colours in this lipstick range. Now it’s a total of 20 shades. This is the first liquid matte lipstick by the Lakme. From this range today I am reviewing the shade 03 – vintage pink.

It is a new lightweight formula that feels feather-light on your lips and has an intense, deep and rich colour pay off in a single stroke. It has the ultimate lightweight formula enwraps lips for a long-lasting silky comfort without drying your lips. It is completely transfer-proof and stays all-day. The wand is specially designed to give your lips properly.
How to Apply Liquid Lipstick:
Remove the wand from the barrel. Using the tip of the wand, start application on your upper lip from your cupid’s bow. Then apply on the lower lip starting from the corner and swipe it across for a well-defined look.
My Actual Experience With Lakme Matte Melt Liquid Lipcolor – Vintage Pink:
Packaging of this Lakme Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color is typically like Lakme Absolute product range. This liquid lipstick comes in a black cardboard box and the actual product comes under this box. This main lip colour comes under a cylindrical transparent plastic bottle and it secures by a glossy black colour cap. You can easily identify the shade of the lipstick of that type of transparent packaging.
The wand of this Lakme liquid lipstick is very small that’s why you need to deep repeatedly to take the desired amount of product. For me, the wand is not very good, just average.
Shade vintage pink is one of the prettiest nude shade from this range. It’s a dusky pink colour. It looks stunning on fair to medium skin tone. Perfect pink nude with a hint of brown for everyday wear. You can easily wear it in the office, college and any daytime occasion or with any smokey/heavy eye makeup. I love the shade. But the only problem is that it does not give an opaque finished look with its first application. After 2 to 3 swipes of this liquid lipstick, you can get the actual colour of this lip colour.
Longevity: In my lips, it stays up to 3-4 hours nicely without taking a meal. But after taking a meal it washes off from shades. But this particular hade just totally vanishes from my lips after taking food.
The texture of this liquid lipstick is very velvety, weightless. After wearing this lip colour it does not feel heavy on my lips. Do not dry out my lips. But it feels a bit sticky after drying. This Lakme Absolute Liquid Lipstick takes 2-3 min to dry down. After drying do not transfer this lip colour. You can see the picture below. But after taking food and drink something it first come off from the middle of the lower lips.
- Stunning shade
- Very easily available
- Very lightweight on lips
- Nice packaging
- Easily transfer after eating food
- Staying power not very good
- Do not give opaque colour after one swipe
- Do not cover pigmented lips
- Wan is very small

Overall Conclusion About This Product:
Overall I love this shade of vintage pink. Good for everyday use. Perfect pink nude shade for daytime. But it does not cover very pigmented lips. After drying it a little bit settled down on the lips. So need proper lip exfoliation and also staying power just ok type. Not very impressive for me, it’s just average matte lipstick. If you are looking for any pink nude shade for everyday wear then definitely go for it. I am sure you loved this shade and texture.
