And this is the perfect time for makeup, fashionable winter clothes, shoes and especially in India winter is also the season of weddings. But this cold dry weather can easily make your skin dehydrated and dry. Your natural moisture of the skin is lost in this chilled weather and that brings many skins problems. That’s why we need a serious winter skincare routine on a daily basis. This seasonal change in winter effects badly on our skin, if you do not take care properly. In my blog today I am sharing very effective 5 winter hacks for bright and crystal clear skin and this is very effective especially in winter. Also, you can follow these hacks throughout the year for problem-free skin.

# Hack No. 1:

In winter our skin lost water and moisture because of chilled dry weather and it becomes dehydrated, dry. For that, at this time our dead skin cells are increased and we face flaky, lifeless looking skin. To overcome this problem I am sharing my 1st winter skincare hacks for glowing face.

To remove dead skin cells from the face and makes it brighter, then you can use a DIY scrubber and ingredients of scrubber are easily available in our kitchen and also it

  • DIY Scrubber:

Ingredients: Papaya pulp, Lemon, Coffee, and Honey.

Papaya had mild scrubbing property that removes your dead skin cells. Lemon has lots of vitamins C and also it lighten your scars. Coffee has antioxidants that decrease free radicals and Honey is also a good source of antioxidants and moisturizes your skin. Take a bowl and mixed the ingredients and make a smooth paste. Then apply on your face and gently massage it in a circular motion. After washing it you can see your soft, clear, naturally glowing skin.

# Hack No. 2:

In cold weather, the air becomes very dry because of the very low humidity level. For that reason skin also its hydration and become more dry and damaged. To restore the skin’s hydration we need to drink lots of water and as well as also need toner for outer application on the face. Toner hydrates your skin, and also it maintains our pH balance of the skin. To solve this problem we can make a DIY toner with the help of just one ingredient. I am sure you definitely here very little about this ingredient for skincare. The product is tamarind (Imli).

  • DIY Toner:

Ingredients: You need just a small amount of tamarind (approx. 20 gram) and soak it in room temperature water for 2-3 hours, and use a clean glass/plastic bowl. After that smashed it with the help of a fork and separate its pulp and water by a stainer. After that store it in a clear plastic spray bottle.

You can use this toner two times in a day on clear skin or when you feel your skin became dehydrated is a powerhouse of flavonoids, antioxidants, vitamin C, A, that makes your skin brighter and also it can reduce pigmentation.

# Hack No. 3:

Proper masking is very essential to balance our skin’s moisture. Masking also pampers our skin and makes it brighter. For masking, I am sharing a DIY face mask recipe, especially for winter.

  • DIY Face Mask:

Ingredients: You need cocoa powder 2 tbsp, fuller’s earth 1 tbsp, honey 1 tsp, yogurt 1 tbsp.

All ingredients mixed very well and make a smooth paste. After that apply it on the face and neck and allow it to dry this face pack. After 10-15 minutes you wash it with the help of normal water and I am sure you can see the natural glow of your face.

Chocolate or cocoa powder is a natural source of antioxidants that reduce free radicals and prevents early sine of aging. It also makes skin more youthful and locks the skin’s natural moisture. Honey also gives moisturization to skin and yogurt makes skin glowy and hydrated. Last but not the list fuller earth cleans pores and control oil. But if you have extremely dry skin then you can skip this.

# Hack No. 4:

Chapped lips are a very common problem in this dry cold weather. Sometimes it becomes more severe. Then it is very for us. To get rid of this problem you can use this DIY lip scrub-mask.

  • DIY recipe for beautiful lips:

Take the skin of papaya and rub it on lips. Like papaya pulp, its skins also very effective for our skin. It exfoliates lips and also helps to decrease pigmentation of lips.

Or, you can use lemon juice and sugar to exfoliate your lips.

After that make a smooth paste of 1/4th of ripe banana, honey, and lemon. Banana and honey moisturize your lips and lemon lighten dark patches of lips.

After applying this mask cover it with the help of any plastic sheet and secure it with the help of cello tape. After 5 to 10 minutes you wash it with water and apply good lip balm. You can easily see the difference before and after effect.

# Hack No. 5:

Cracked heels also one of the most common problems in winter. Dry skin people usually face huge problems with their cracked heels. The shortage of moisture in the skin is the main problem for this. The dry environment of the winter season is easily made skin drier. To treat dry cracked heels you need to follow these 3 to 4 steps.

1st step: Soak your feet into the warm soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes once in a week or every alternative day (f you have acute cracked heel problem).

2nd step: Scrub your heels and whole feet with foot scrubber/pumice stone or a loofah and exfoliate your feet very well to remove thick dead skin cells. Also, you can use a DIY foot scrubber.

Ingredients: Rice flour 1 tbsp, Gram flour 1 tbsp, and yogurt 2 tsp.

Mixed all the ingredients very well and apply it on your feet and gently rub to remove exfoliate and removes dry patches, dart.

3rd step: Wash your feet with clean normal water and pat dry by any cotton cloth.

4th step: Apply a good thick moisturizer and massage it nicely in a circular motion.

5th step: Cover up your feet with cotton socks.

Tips: Also you can apply DIY foot mask. For that you need one mashed ripe banana and 1 tbsp honey. Mixed it well and make smooth paste. Then directly apply on your feet and also cover up your feet with the help of any polythene wrap for 10-15 minutes. After that, wash it with warm water and apply moisturizer.

This DIY pack gives you naturally moisturized feet.
